  • For theothers here looking to see what causes the error, the error is caused because the installer program for some reason does not like the fact the "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" has UNC
  • Like TS7, if the user logged in was a Domain Admin, this error did not occur.
  • Apparently even though the user had full rights to their user folder, the fact that they didn't have any rights to the USERS folder in the path was causing the issue.
