I have made a repackage of a setup.exe wiht admin studio. Just a quick update, I finally got the problem solved!First, I tried all deleting the Recent entry again,rebooted, no help. which to me seems to imply that the "NULLDesktop10.0" isn't from the install path????I tried to install the SQL Express server independently - and managed to get the SP3 version working
